The Air Quality System (AQS) control unit is an indispensable tool to be integrated in an Air Handling System (UTA), with the aim of acting on the purification and sanitising.

Data management is entrusted to a powerful microprocessor that enables the systematic analysis in real time mode of the different levels of air quality, diagnosed by highly professional and reliable sensors. Values such as Air Speed, Relative Humidity (RU), temperature (° C), Carbon dioxide (CO2), Ozone (O3), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and others, are monitored and processed in real time by the AQS, thus allowing the Air Cleaning System (ACS) ionizing modules to activate according to the real environmental requirements. Configuration of the AHU and needs of the environment to be dealt with will determine the kind of priority to be attributed to the sensors, giving greater importance to signals such as CO2 rather than organic compounds (VOC) or ozone levels (O3), ensuring that the required quality is
achieved.

This “intelligent” data management ensures the safety of people, because in addition to those received by the sensors other data (parameters) are set manually to calibrate both the operational limits and the sensitivity of data processing.
Bipolar ionization produces a deliberately low level of ozone in the air as a result of the energized oxygen process and the AQS Control Unit has the possibility of establishing, as regards the ozone level, the guard and maximum limits in accordance with the law.

The A.Q.S. control unit can control several modules simultaneously and can send to a remote system or PC, all data received from sensors, providing an indication of performance in terms of ionization intensity and the state of the alarms via RS 232 or ethernet.
